Heirloom

Here's Marley playing with a pom pom that was mine when I was her age.
My sister was a pom pom girl in high school...so of course I had my
own pom poms and uniform. My mom made the uniform. I still have it.
One day I'll get around to putting Marley in it and taking pictures!

All by herself!

Marley got down off of the couch all by herself! She turned around
and slid down! No head first dives!

How smart is this?

Marley started crying and I said what's wrong. She went to the
refrigerator and made the milk sign!

Not many entries

As you have probably noticed my blog entries are few and far between
these days. That's because as Marley grows she gets faster and into
everything and at the same time I'm getting bigger and slower! I
can't blog when she's up and when she naps I rest! So sorry for not a
lot of news on here:(

Dog bowl

Marley got to the dog bowl faster than I did...she was soaked so I let
her play (I know...bad mommy!). At one point she stuffed her entire
self into the bowl!

First time out

Marley had her first time out today. She keeps trying to pick up the
cat by his tail or fur. She seemed to understand she did something
wrong but immediately pulled the cats fur after getting out of timeout!
Sorry mom and dad for all the things I did when I was little (which
wasn't much...ha ha!)....parenting is HARD!

Meow

So when you ask marley what an animal says....any animal....she
meows! As I was handing her milk this morning I aksed her "what do
you say" (looking for a please). She said "ow"
This kid cracks me up! So much personality in such a tiny lil package:)

Church

So as you can see below we went to church today. Marley went to the
nursery. This was the first time she's ever been left with
"strangers". The nursery staff said she did very well. She didn't cry
until she saw us walk in the door to pick her up! She got soooo upset;
(. I wonder if she didn't realize that we weren't there. All in all it
went well!

First truck cart ride

This was the first time Marley rode in the little truck part of the
cart. She loved it! She was so funny! She was driving both steering
wheels and beeping the horn. Then she tried to hang out the
side....dukes of hazzard style! Such a funny kid!

First time she got on it herself! Daddy pushed her around a little
bit and she seemed to like it:)

It's been a while

It's been a while since I've last written. Let's see....what have we
been up to?! We had Aunt Mammy's birthday, New Years, and my birthday.
All were a great time! Thanks to all of you who helped make each day
special:)
