Marley's first sick doctor appointment

I took Marley to her first sick doctor's appointment today. She has a runny nose and a slight cough, but otherwise doing well. The only thing we can do for her is continuing the saline drops in her nose.

Phase one complete

Big changes
Big changes are coming to both of Marley's websites. First and foremost, I am trying to combine them into one site. I haven't mastered this yet, but it will be great when it is done. I am also looking to completely overhaul the main site, but that may be necessary with the first bit of news. That's all. Just very bored at work, but unable to do these things here!

Lots of Time with Marley
I will get to spend the next few months home with Marley. As we all know the housing market isn't doing so well. Fortunately, it worked out so that I will get to stay home with her now. We'll be taking trips into the city to have lunch with Daddy, visit some friends, and we'll also be doing some chores! I'm so excited to spend this time with her. I feel so lucky!!!!

Marley's first walk

We took our first walk around the neighborhood today, and showed her off to the neighbors. Well, only one came out to see her. The dogs behaved well, which made it so much easier. She seemed to enjoy herself, and we did as well.

Invitations
I am writing this as a broad, open invitation to everyone who reads this blog. Marley is growing so fast, and some people haven't really had a lot of opportunity to come to see her. If you are sitting back and waiting for an invitation, you aren't going to get one. Everyone has an equal opportunity to call an say you want to see her. 9 times out of 10 we are home. That's not to say we won't be busy doing things around the house. But we also know that the baby is the main draw. If we won't be home, we will tell you, and we will also let you know if someone is already coming over. So please, don't worry about us having too many visitors or being busy. If you want to see her, we want you to see her.
2nd doctor appointment

Marley's appointment went well again. Her new stats are 23 1/4 inch (90%), 12 lbs (90%), 15 3/4 (90%). She is growing well and everything looks great. She got another shot, and did really well. All set and not back for another month.

Growing so fast!
As I sort through Marley's clothes and put the ones a side that she's grown out of already I realize how fast she is growing. We try to make every moment together count because they fly by. I can't believe she is 6 weeks old already! She holds her head up for quite some time, smiles, laughs, and is going through a cranky stage (usually only at night...thank God!).

Final day in VA

Today we are heading home. It was a great trip, and we will hate to leave. Everyone has been so wonderful. A special thanks to Aunt Wanda and Uncle Max for letting the three of us stay for 2 nights. Marley had a great time during her first super bowl.
