VA trip day 2
GeoTagged, [N36.88886, E82.25318]
Day 2 went as smoothly as day 1. Marley got to spend time with Aunt Minnie, her great-grandmom, Aunt Linda, and Uncle Jack. Everyone loved her, and of course, because how could they not? It was a great day, everyone got to hold her, and they couldn't get enough. Marley did a great job, and didn't give anyone a hard time. I will post all of the pictures when we get home, but here is one of her in her first hotel room!

Day 1 complete
The first day of Marley's road trip is complete. We left Aunt Wanda and Uncle Max's house around noon, then got to Aunt Linda and Uncle Jack's around 6:30. She did great in the car, through all of the hours she was in the seat. We had a great visit, and are now at the hotel. Marley is sacked out and in her pack and play. Good night to all.

Baby's first road trip
All told, over 5 hours in the car and all was well. So far, only a slight colic moment. We shall see what is to come. Another 6+ hours in the car tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Second day of work
Today was a much more productive day at work, trying to get back into a routine. It was still incredibly difficult to leave this morning, though. Baby Marley was sound asleep, and Sonja was tired from being up all night. At least she isn't back to work yet! I can't imagine what she will be feeling like.

First day back to work
So today was much tougher than I thought it would be. I knew getting up early, getting ready, and going to work was going to be tough. What I underestimated was how tough it would be to leave my wife and daughter for the first time in the morning. I have run to the store, gone to pick up things, but never for anywhere near this long. It is tough to focus, to get back into the swing of things here when I so want to be home again. I guess it will get easier. We will see
